Urgent Update: November 23, 2020

In-person worship at Messiah is being suspended for the next two weeks, effective immediately.

This action, following procedures adopted by the Church Council at its November meeting, is being taken due to a COVID-19 related event.

Messiah's office will also be closed through Monday, November 30; office staff will continue to work by remote access.

We plan to livestream online worship services during the next two weeks on YouTube at these dates and times.

  • Wednesday, November 25 at 7 pm (Thanksgiving Eve)

  • Sunday, November 29 at 11 am

  • Wednesday, December 2 at 7 pm (Advent Midweek Service)

  • Sunday, December 6 at 11 am

The livestreams will also be posted on our website and Facebook page as soon as possible afterwards.

Please contact Parish Assistant Rick Krueger directly for further information. Messiah's leadership will be monitoring the situation closely; we will let you know of any changes to this plan as they occur.

Please keep all those ill with COVID-19 and all the family of Messiah in your prayers. Empowered by God's Word and our Baptism, may we continue to meditate on Holy Scripture, pray for our leaders, care for each other and hold on to our Savior Jesus Christ. No matter the circumstance, may the peace and joy of God continue to reign in our hearts, because His Son is risen from the dead, lives and reigns to all eternity, and is coming again. This is most certainly true!
