Messiah continues its Lenten midweek schedule with prayer services on Wednesday, March 12th at 11:00 am (Matins) and 7:00 pm (Vespers). The 7:00 pm service is scheduled to be livestreamed at www.youtube.com/messiahgr, our website and our Facebook page. A BBQ Supper will be held before Vespers, in the Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm.

Our 2025 Lenten meditations are based on The Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ, According to the Four Gospels. In addition to praying Psalm 91:1-13 on March 12th, we’ll focus on The Lord’s Supper. We’ll also sing selected stanzas of March’s Hymn of the Month each week:

Thou, ah! Thou, hast taken on Thee
    Bonds and stripes, a cruel rod;
Pain and scorn were heaped upon Thee,
    O Thou sinless Son of God!
Thus didst Thou my soul deliver
From the bonds of sin forever.
    Thousand, thousand thanks shall be,
    Dearest Jesus, unto Thee.
